Data controller

Mazzer, a digital studio based in Argentina working 100% remotely. For anything related to this policy, or to exercise your rights, write to [email protected].

What we process and where it comes from

We only process what you give us and what the site strictly needs to work:

• Contact form and WhatsApp: name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry. You provide these.
• IP address (pseudonymised): when you submit the form we store a hash of your IP for up to one hour, solely to limit automated submissions. We do not keep the IP in clear text and we do not link it to your enquiry.
• Usage data (Google Analytics): only if you consent through the cookie banner. Without your consent no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is collected.

We do not process special categories of data (health, biometrics, political opinions or similar) and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Purpose and legal basis

• Answering your enquiry and preparing a quote or assessment. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Commercial follow-up on the service you asked about. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Protecting the form from automated abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) in keeping the site usable.
• Site usage statistics. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a), given through the cookie banner.

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects on you.

How long we keep it

• Contact enquiries: as long as needed to handle them and, if a working relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship. If nothing comes of it, we delete them within 24 months.
• IP hash: one hour, then it is deleted automatically.
• Analytics data: per the retention configured in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or transfer your personal data. It is handled by the following providers acting as processors:

• Hostinger — website hosting and email service.
• Cloudflare — content delivery network and site protection.
• Google (Analytics) — usage statistics, only with your consent.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose that channel, their own policy also applies.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Mazzer is based in Argentina, so your data is processed outside the EEA. The European Commission has recognised Argentina as providing an adequate level of protection (Decision 2003/490/EC), so this transfer does not require additional safeguards. Some of the providers listed above may also process data in the United States, under standard contractual clauses or their respective adequacy mechanisms.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability at any time, and withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. To do so, write to [email protected]: we respond within one month.

If you believe the processing does not comply, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

Cookies

We use technical cookies necessary for the site to work (these do not require consent) and analytics cookies, which are only activated if you accept them in the banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser: the banner will appear again.
